APPALOOSA
In the 1970's, Appaloosa played countless club dates, shows and concerts in 32 states. The band was very popular on the college concert circuit and at resorts like Elk Horn (Sun Valley), Million Dollar Cowboy (Jackson Hole) and Chico Hot Springs (Livingston).

Appaloosa often appeared as an opening act for national artists like Charlie Daniels, Pure Prarie League, Asleep at the Wheel, Ozark Mountain Daredevils, Dixie Dregs, Commander Cody, John Hartford, Jeannie C Riley and the Flying Burrito Brothers.

Ed Clem (Bass and Lead Vocals), Les Urban (Guitar, Steel, Lead Vocals), Steve Morrison (Drums), Roy Davis (Banjo), Randall Bullock (violin), Roger Burgin (road manager), James Merideth (manager). Other personel included Mark Hutchison (bass), Steve Strong (guitar). The band was booked through the Blytham agency in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois.
